The Healthy Relationships and Economic Pathways Program Launches in the Central Valley
The California Adolescent Health Collaborative (CAHC) is excited to announce the launch of the Healthy Relationships and Economic Pathways (H-REP) program in California’s Central Valley. The five-year program, funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Administration for Children and Families, provides low-income and at-risk youth (ages 14 to 24) in Stanislaus and Merced Counties with the training and support necessary to build healthy relationships and develop career and life skills that enable them to thrive into adulthood. The Empower Program led the first stage of H-REP’s launch on July 15, 2016, focusing on out-of-school youth in Merced County. The second stage of the H-REP launch will be led by Project YES (Youth Employment Services) on August 1, 2016, and will focus on out-of-school youth in Stanislaus County.
