Center for Adolescent Health and the Law

The Center for Adolescent Health & the Law is a unique national organization that works exclusively to promote the health of adolescents and their access to comprehensive health care. The Center addresses a broad range of complex legal and policy issues that affect access to health care for the most vulnerable youth in the United States. The Center provides information and analysis, publications, consultation, and training to health professionals, policy makers, researchers and advocates who are working to protect the health of our adolescents.

National Center for Youth Law

NCYL works to ensure that youth in trouble with the law are treated fairly and appropriately for their age and capacity to change. NCYL promotes reforms that keep youth from entering the juvenile justice system, and also strives to protect the safety and welfare of youth in custody.

 


Commonweal’s Juvenile Justice Program

Dedicated to the establishment of laws, policies and programs that serve the juvenile justice goals of crime prevention, treatment and rehabilitation within a context of public protection. Includes projects targeted to the state of California, with the goal of building an adequate service network within the state for high-risk youth and their families.

 


Children’s Legal Protection Center

A non-profit public interest law organization that works to protect disadvantaged children across the U.S., focusing upon those who are apart from their families and living in foster care or juvenile justice systems.

 


Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice

Provides direct services, technical assistance, research/policy analysis, and public education in the criminal justice field.

 


Campaign for Youth Justice

The Campaign for Youth Justice is a national campaign dedicated to ending the practice of trying, sentencing and incarcerating children under the age of 18 in the adult criminal justice system by empowering those moved to act for youth justice.
