National Institute on Drug Abuse
Provides links to the latest research on alcohol and drug abuse, including club drugs and methamphetamine. Special sections for researchers, parents, students, young adults, and teachers. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism
Provides biomedical and behavioral research on the causes, consequences, treatment, and prevention of alcoholism and alcohol-related problems. Many pamphlets, brochures, training manuals and reports are specific to youth and can be downloaded from the web site. Also features information about the Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free, a multiyear effort in support of a highly visible national campaign led by Governors’ spouses to prevent early onset drinking among children aged 9 to 15.
